The unsuspecting wave of anxiety and fear that appears when you’ve finally hit the send button and your well-crafted yet unretractable text message gets sent.
It’s that pulsating ba-dump of your heart that seems to pick up every so slightly when you see three dots appear, and as quickly as it came, disappear.
Love and what I’ll call the “emotions of love” can be both the brightest warrior and the crazed artist. The messages that come from love – the questions of “Am I worthy” or “Does this person like me”, or “Am I making a fool of myself”.
These are the questions that our heart sends us, not for their merit, but for the sheet fact that it’s a signal that we’re alive. That we’re in the midst of self-discovery. Discovery of our hearts language, and the feelings that help us reach a higher plane of consciousness.
Can we at any point in time. Stand firm in our seat, and stand firm in our earthly grounding so we remain responsive from our solar plexus and heart spaces – rather than let the mind take over and respond from a place of imagination (often anxious).
There’s a place for imagination, and it’s a great place. Just know when to have it happen and when not to.
