Several experts have said communication is not the message that is sent, but the message received. A fast follow is easily “communication is 90% non-verbal”.
What it comes down to it, the mental model, the trust, and the confidence that you have in your thoughts shape your perception and reaction to the world around you. When you do this over time, your world will shape first rather than after.
First, what is it that you believe in. What is a mantra or mission that is simple yet powerful enough to stand the test of circumstances, time, hardship, and days of fortune. I’m blessed to have experienced this sooner rather than later in my career. The mission at CircleUp is to help entrepreneurs thrive with the capital and resources that they need. This phrase represents integrity, pride, creativity, and much more. It’s a means of strength. It’s a thread of connection, and it’s a mission filled with clarity.
You can ask yourself what’s important and what’s urgent when the situation calls for it, but when several situations arise back to back, you’ve got to stick to a mission. A higher set of values that you can take pride and energy within.
My job has always been to contribute to a healing environment, and invite others to heal as well. My work is to bring the natural abundance of the world into the physical plane. Now, my focus has been to build philips brand and circle ups brand.
There’s responsibility, impact, and courage involved. The courage to build a community, to show up every single day with the resolve to treat each minute as a gift/blessing. The resolve to improve and give. The resolve to be present with your feelings, emotions, and the choice to respond. It’s response-able , and not necessarily, response-ive.
Study the world, study business, study interpersonal connections, and study how the collective supports each other.
Eventually, all of us will get tapped to stand up and show our mettle. Show our resiliency, and show our drive to be citizens of the world. We’re constantly and continually being shown circumstances that allow us to grow. It’s our duty to be response-able and equipped to do our best, to foster the energy, and let it grow into a curious, unique, and personal life experience.
