Abundance

A dear friend of mine, Amy added me and several dozens of other people to a WhatsApp group titled 21 Day’s of Abundance.

The premise is simple. Each day, complete an exercise and listen to a meditation from Deepak Chopra’s 21 Day’s of Abundance audio series.

So what really is abundance? Some may call it riches, and other’s liken it to having a lot. I think it’s a state of mind. Abundance is the ability to be present with surroundings and observe the areas in your life in which you can see joy, support, community, and love. The act of observing itself, and looking around you (with purpose) to identify what’s around you, today, is the key. If you can see and acknowledge what you’ve observed, that is by definition of having “more”.

On the flip side, you can also have an abundance of poverty, an abundance or negative thoughts, and an abundance of lack. Therefore, it’s important to be setting intention on identifying the areas that are empowering rather than disempowering.

The journey that Amy has shared with me starts with cleansing the body and spirit of the places that do not serve you. It starts with inviting us to come with up lists of folks that take energy away from us.

Then the work of allowing, and being receptive to bringing in positive areas of abundance begins.
